Emission Surcharge effective as from 14th Oct 2024

Dear Trade Partners,

 

KM Malta Airlines , is introducing an Emission Surcharge. The surcharge is intended to cover part of the steadily rising additional costs due to regulatory environmental requirements imposed on all carriers. The code for the Emission surcharge will be “YRF”.

 

• Emission Surcharge applies to all KMMA operated Network
• Charge applies to all tickets issued from and including 14^th OCT 2024
• Charge applies per Sector per person as per Rates below
• The YRF (Emission Surcharge) charge will be refundable if not utilised
• The YRI – Carrier Imposed Fee, which is already in place, at EUR 20 per Ticket will remain unchanged and non-refundable as per current condition

For any bookings created before the 14^{th of} October 24 but not yet ticketed, the Emission Surcharge will not be levied, you are requested to backdate pricing, to the date of creation so as to retain the price quote at time of booking.
